Preparing for your family photo shoot
Taking your family photos and individual portraits will require a half day or a full day, depending on how many people there are in the group and what sort of photos you would like. Prices start from as little as £100. The studio session can take place at any time that suits you. When you book the session, we will want to know if the photos are for framing and hanging in the home or for a special occasion, perhaps a gift for a wedding anniversary. We will want to find out what interests you all have and if you have any ideas for family pictures that you want to try out. We can then make some suggestions for you to discuss with your family so that you will have a good idea of the types of photos you can expect to get from your studio photo shoot.
What happens during the family photo shoot experience?
Once you are at the studio, the session will start with a walk around the studio and some information about the equipment that will be used. Because he doesn’t follow a format for portrait sessions, you and David will then decide how the session will run and the types of photos you will end up with. The atmosphere will be relaxed and informal so that you can concentrate on looking your best for the camera. There will be time for preparation, including make-up and changes of outfit.
During the shoot there will be an opportunity for individual portraits of each one of you as well as group shots with different poses, outfits and props. We can change backgrounds as well.

What type of frames can I have on my family photographs?
You will get an opportunity to look at different ways you can display family photos including having the photographs printed on canvas or having acrylic photo panels. Regardless of what you choose for the finished photos, a CD of images from the day will be provided to you.
Once you have selected the images you would like printed we can edit for minor corrections (removal of a spot or other blemish for example) or we can do some creative edits using the post-production software we have in the studio.

After spending some time shooting images with just an essence of her at home she laid out a beautiful lunch, home baked cheese cake and a few lovely friends to spend the afternoon with.
